This page outlines every stage of the process, from the moment you click “Place Order” to the package arriving at your doorstep. Please read the following details carefully so you know exactly what to expect.
1. Order Processing Window
Our fulfillment team operates Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern Time. We do not process shipments on weekends or U.S. federal holidays. Once your payment is authorized, your order enters our processing queue. Under normal conditions, we pick, pack, and hand off your order to the carrier within 1–2 business days. During high-volume sales periods or inclement weather, processing may extend to the upper end of that window, but we will always notify you of any significant delays.
2. Shipping Coverage
We currently ship to all 48 United States, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories with domestic postal codes. This includes residential addresses, commercial addresses, P.O. Boxes, and APO/FPO/DPO military addresses. We do not ship internationally at this time. If you are located outside the United States and place an order using a freight forwarder, please be aware that our responsibility for the package ends once it is marked “Delivered” to the forwarder’s address.
3. Carrier Selection
We work with a curated network of national and regional carriers to ensure reliable delivery. Our primary partners include:
- United States Postal Service (USPS), including Priority Mail and First-Class Package
- UPS (United Parcel Service) Ground and 2nd Day Air
- FedEx Express and Home Delivery
The specific carrier for your order is selected algorithmically based on your zip code, package weight, and current service performance. If you have a strong preference or a known issue with a particular carrier, please contact us immediately after ordering, and we will do our best to accommodate.
4. Shipping Cost
Shipping is 100% free for every order, every day. There is no minimum purchase amount, no membership fee, and no surcharge for Alaska, Hawaii, or remote mainland locations. We never inflate product prices to compensate for “free shipping” promotions; the price you see on the product page is the final price you pay.
5. Transit Time Estimates
Once your package is scanned in by the carrier, the estimated time in transit is as follows:
- Continental U.S. (lower 48 states): 3–5 business days
- Alaska, Hawaii, and non-contiguous U.S. territories: May take up to 7 business days
- APO/FPO/DPO addresses: Delivery windows vary based on military handling procedures; typically 7–14 business days after acceptance at a U.S. sorting facility
These are estimates provided by the carriers. Weather, natural disasters, and peak-season volume can occasionally cause delays beyond our control. If tracking shows no movement for more than 5 business days, please contact us at info@lattaffa-usa.it.com so we can launch a trace.
6. Package Tracking
A shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number will be sent as soon as your label is generated. You can use this number directly on the USPS, UPS, or FedEx website. Make sure to add info@lattaffa-usa.it.com to your address book to prevent delivery updates from landing in spam.
7. Address Accuracy
Please double-check your shipping address before submitting your order. We process orders quickly, and we cannot guarantee that an address change request will be honored once the order is placed. If you realize that an address is incorrect, email us immediately. Packages returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address will be subject to a re-shipping fee equal to our carrier cost, payable before we can resend the item.
8. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages
If your tracking information indicates the package was delivered but you cannot locate it, we recommend the following steps:
- Check around your property, including porches, garages, and with neighbors.
- Contact the carrier directly with your tracking number to open a missing mail inquiry.
- If the package remains missing after 48 hours, reach out to us. We will assist in filing a carrier claim and, at our discretion, offer a replacement or store credit.
For items that arrive with visible external damage, please take photographs of the packaging before opening and contact us within 48 hours. This documentation is crucial for processing a damage claim with the carrier.
